Get a Head Start: Modern Warfare 4 Campaign Early Access Launches a Week Ahead
The campaign of Modern Warfare 4 takes players to an uncharted territory for the series: South Korea. You step into the boots of Private Park, a young South Korean soldier experiencing the chaos of combat for the first time alongside his squad.
If you decide to pre-order any edition of Modern Warfare 4 across platforms like PC, PlayStation 5, Switch 2, or Xbox, you’ll gain early access to the campaign starting on October 16, a week ahead of the official launch. Pre-orders are currently open for all platforms, with the Switch 2 version set to be available later this year.
Additionally, an open beta for Modern Warfare 4 has been confirmed. Historically, these betas have launched about a month prior to the game’s release, so we can anticipate it arriving in late September. More information will be shared as the date approaches.
The campaign description reveals that Captain Price, now an operator-turned-outlaw, is working outside the system he once upheld. His quest for vengeance leads him to a weapon capable of altering the power dynamics, igniting a conflict far beyond his expectations. As he navigates uneasy alliances and covert operations, Price finds himself ensnared in consequences he cannot evade.
Captain Price is back in action.
When Modern Warfare 4 officially drops on October 23, it will feature a robust multiplayer mode that has already generated significant buzz. Plus, the DMZ mode is making a comeback, revamped to truly embody the “game within a game” concept.
