Debate Sparks Over New Werewolf Love Interest’s Appeal: “Do European Girls Find This Attractive?”
Team Jacob enthusiasts, your moment has arrived! The creators of Love and Deepspace have introduced a new romantic interest, a werewolf named Valko, and the community has—pardon the pun—gone wild.
Making his debut in Love and Deepspace on July 9th, Valko is a tech CEO by day and the leader of a werewolf clan by night. You can almost hear the Omegaverse fanfiction engines revving up. While Valko’s reveal has certainly stirred excitement, opinions about him are quite divided. Many fans are thrilled to have a new character to swoon over, while others feel he resembles the existing love interests too closely or that his vibe doesn’t mesh well with the rest of the cast. A popular theory among fans suggests that Valko was designed to cater to Western audiences, and I can see where they’re coming from.
Valko has a more rugged appearance compared to the other characters. With his furry ears, tail, and tendency to run on all fours and howl, he definitely stands out. In contrast, the other boys exude a sense of danger but maintain a more refined demeanor, reminiscent of characters from Asian dramas or otome games.
As a proud member of Team Jacob, my initial impression of Valko was that he wasn’t really my type. His looks didn’t appeal to me, and I wasn’t particularly drawn to the fact that he seems tailored for fans of Omegaverse stories. However, one of the great aspects of Love and Deepspace is that sometimes you need to spend time with a character before you truly appreciate them. Initially, I was only interested in the doctor Zayne and the mafia boss Sylus. But as I explored the story and got to know the other love interests, I found myself growing fond of all five boys. I have a feeling that once Love and Deepspace gives me the chance to interact with Valko, I might just end up falling for him too.
