Google’s NotebookLM Transforms Your Research into TikTok-Style Summaries

Google’s NotebookLM is introducing an exciting new feature that lets you catch up on your notes through TikTok-style AI videos. This functionality is being made available to Google AI Ultra and Pro subscribers, enabling NotebookLM to create 60-second vertical AI clips based on the content you upload.

One example showcases Australia’s failed war on emus, combining whimsical paper cutout-style AI art of emus with engaging narration. This addition complements other interactive features of NotebookLM, such as AI podcasts, cinematic videos, and visual explainers.

To create your own 60-second clip, simply navigate to NotebookLM on the web or app, select a notebook, and click on “Video” in the Studio column on the right. Then, choose “Short,” pick a topic for NotebookLM to focus on (or input your own), and hit the “Generate” button.

Currently, this feature is available in English only, with plans to extend support to free users in the near future.
