Silver Palace Unveils Sleek New Trailer and Launches Beta Signups for Detective RPG

The anime-inspired action RPG, Silver Palace, is currently undergoing its “Dichotomy” beta test. To mark this occasion, the developers at Elementa Games have unveiled a new gameplay trailer that showcases this detective RPG, which aims to stand alongside titles from Hoyoverse like Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail.

Silver Palace was first introduced last year with a 10-minute showcase that highlighted its Victorian fantasy visuals. Players step into the shoes of a detective in the expansive world of Silvernia, where they are tasked with uncovering the city’s deepest secrets. Following its announcement, players had an opportunity to experience the game during the closed “Monotype” beta earlier this January. Now, the second closed beta, “Dichotomy,” is live until July 16 on Windows PC. Those interested can sign up for a chance to participate through the official Silver Palace site. Notably, the beta features no in-game purchases, and all data will be reset at the end.

The new trailer focuses on the narrative, environments, and various systems within Silver Palace. The female protagonist engages in activities ranging from card games and chess to interrogating suspects and soaring through the skies on fantastical creatures. Some of the most breathtaking moments in the trailer feature a colossal flying whale that acts as a blimp, reminiscent of elements from the Netflix series Leviathan. The dynamic between the protagonist and a mysterious figure known as Red Rose, who narrates the trailer, draws parallels to the iconic animated shorts from Honkai: Star Rail featuring Acheron and Black Swan. The ability to stealthily observe characters as part of the detective work appears particularly innovative, potentially allowing Silver Palace to carve out its own niche in the competitive landscape of open-world gacha RPGs.

In conjunction with the beta announcement, Elementa also released a trailer introducing the long-awaited male protagonist. Players fortunate enough to gain access to the “Dichotomy” beta will have the chance to explore new environments and systems that were not available during the “Monotype” beta. For those who miss out on this beta, Elementa has plans to take the game on tour, offering fans opportunities to experience Silver Palace at select events throughout the year.

While a release date for Silver Palace has yet to be revealed, the “Dichotomy” beta may bring the game closer to launch.
