Grab a Free Action-Packed Beat-‘Em-Up for PC—Limited Time Only!

The Epic Games Store is giving away two free PC games this week for users. For a limited time, you can snag an action-packed beat-’em-up and a renowned literary classic at no cost.

**River City Girls 2** is a stylish beat-’em-up that continues the beloved River City saga, which includes retro gems like 1989’s **River City Ransom** and the recent **River City Saga: Journey to the West**. In this sequel, you can choose from six playable characters, each with unique fighting styles, and enjoy solo play or team up with a friend in co-op mode. Battle through vibrant, side-scrolling streets using a mix of elemental attacks, guard crushes, and lift-off combos.

On the literary side, the Hugo Award-winning “I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream” by Harlan Ellison is one of sci-fi’s most iconic short stories, adapted into a video game in 1995. True to its title, this game is not for the faint-hearted. You take control of five characters trapped in a psychological struggle against the Master Computer, AM. Prepare for challenging ethical dilemmas that will test your morals. Ellison was involved in the game’s development and even lent his voice to the tormenting computer.

If **River City Girls 2** or **I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream** piques your interest, just log in to the Epic Games Store to claim them. These games will be available for free until Thursday, July 9, at 11 a.m. EDT.

And there’s even more to stream now, like **Hollow Knight**.
