Discovering All of Elvira’s Clues in the Moonlight Peaks Treasure Hunt

When Elvira sets up a treasure hunt in Moonlight Peaks, you might find yourself scratching your head if you haven’t ventured far from town. Her poetic clues point to specific locations that require a keen eye. Below, I’ll break down the clues and their locations, but here’s a quick reference for all five clue spots:

Where spirits are poured and secrets are stored,
Find the book that’s dusty and old.
Look between the shelves where bottles line,
The next hint awaits, where magic and wine intertwine.

For the first clue, make your way to Samael’s bar on the east side of town. You should be familiar with the route by now. Elvira’s clue is an envelope located on the ground near the wine racks on the right side of the bar.

Where the quiet ones rest beneath moonlight’s gleam,
Find the spot where shadows dream.
Seek the place where memories are kept,
The next clue lies where the peaceful are slept.

The second clue points you to the Ambrosia family graveyard in the Misty Shores region. It’s a bit concealed, tucked behind a bat-shaped headstone in the top left corner of the graveyard.

Where moonlight dances on ancient spells,
Find the place where magical items dwell.
Look for the spot where enchanted crafts appear,
The next clue waits for you, close and near.

For clue three, head over to Webb of Wonders, where Sabrina works. Elvira’s clue is on the right side of the shop next to the pottery station.

You’ll find your next clue in the space at their heart.

Clue four is a bit trickier! The “sound slowly sours” hints at the Cave of Echoes, the mine in Misty Shores where you’ve likely been mining for copper. It refers to a large bell that marks the hour in Moonlight Peaks, located on the eastern side of the mine. Fortunately, the envelope is easy to spot, so you won’t overlook it.

Where the moon and her followers watch the futures of all,
Find the eastern cascade of the water’s fall.
Look for leaves well-tended by the keepers of fates,
And find the last clue, where your treasure awaits.

The fifth clue leads you to a spot you might not have visited yet: the Khazan Temple, located east of town. Follow the path directly east from town hall (not towards the Howling Marshes) and look for the final note on the ground outside the temple, to the right of a waterfall.

Completing Elvira’s treasure hunt rewards you with a painting to hang in your home. For me, it was an adorable pink painting of a cat (or maybe a vampster?) lounging around. Super cute!
