At one of MCR’s recent performances at Wembley Stadium in London, a TikTok user named @katanaluciana brought a banner that simply asked, “Gerard, have you played Baldur’s Gate 3?” While Way didn’t notice the banner at first, his brother Mikey Way, who plays bass for the band, spotted it and brought it up on stage.

The excitement around Astarion and the Dark Urge connection was palpable at the concert. Fans were buzzing, especially since it was confirmed that Gerard has played the first Baldur’s Gate game. The gig was fantastic, and anyone with videos of that moment is encouraged to share.

When asked about Baldur’s Gate 3, Gerard replied, “No, I’ve only played Baldur’s Gate 1. Not that I probably wouldn’t have liked 2 and 3. I did play the Icewind Dale expansion, but I ran out of time, you know?” He then asked the audience if they had played Baldur’s Gate 3, which drew enthusiastic cheers from the crowd.
