Philips Hue Essential starter kit now available at its lowest price yet.

While many of the fantastic Philips Hue deals from Prime Day have wrapped up, a few enticing offers still linger, including the black Philips Hue Twilight Sleep and Wake-Up Light, which is now even more affordable. However, none have reached a new all-time low like the Philips Hue Essential starter kit. Currently, you can snag a bundle featuring four white and color E26 bulbs along with a Hue Bridge for just $79.99, a sweet $40 discount. This deal is particularly appealing since it matches the price of the two-bulb Essential starter kit, effectively giving you two extra bulbs for free.

Each of these color-changing bulbs can showcase millions of colors or adjustable white light, ranging from a cozy 2200K to a cooler 6500K, all while delivering up to 800 lumens of brightness. The Hue app provides preset lighting scenes for various occasions, from movie nights to festive gatherings, and you can also customize your own scenes. The included Hue Bridge enhances your experience by allowing you to control the lights remotely, set schedules, connect up to 50 lights throughout your space, and automate them to turn on when you arrive home. Plus, it integrates seamlessly with major smart home platforms thanks to Matter compatibility.

As budget-friendly Philips Hue kits, these do miss out on a few premium features worth noting. For instance, the bulbs only dim down to two percent instead of 0.2 percent, and Philips Hue doesn’t guarantee color accuracy across its flagship bulbs in different generations. However, if you’re simply aiming to brighten your home with vibrant smart lighting at a great price, these differences might not be a dealbreaker for you.
