Complete Guide to Treasure Map Locations in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Finding each treasure map location in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 can be a challenge, especially if you’re not adept at recognizing landmarks or haven’t fully explored the regions. These maps can be quite sneaky, pointing to hidden treasures that might require some effort to uncover.

This guide will detail the four primary treasure maps in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. If you’re looking for solutions to other maps, there’s a section at the end where I’ve compiled additional maps I’ve encountered throughout the game.

The four main treasure maps are those explicitly labeled as “treasure map,” but there are also several other maps scattered across the regions that lead to treasure.

The first two treasure maps are located in the starting Trosky region, while the latter two point to areas in Kuttenberg and its surroundings, which you unlock later in the main story.

The first treasure map leads you to a cave in Apollonia. This rocky area is situated in the eastern part of the first region, with the cave itself found in the northern section. The best way to locate it is to take the road north from Trosky Castle, which winds east through the trees and then south into Apollonia. The cave will be on your right as you travel along this path.

Once inside the cave, ascend the two ladders until you reach a room with a locked treasure chest in the center. To unlock it, you’ll need the key located below Trosky, which can be found inside a cracked skull resting on a sack at the far end of the room. Opening the chest rewards you with 200 Groschen, two pieces of Frankfurt Steel for blacksmithing, and other valuables.

Additionally, the Cave in Apollonia is relatively close to Marika’s location in the Miri Fatja quest, so it might be worth checking in on her if you haven’t tracked her down yet.

The second treasure map points to a skeleton with treasure in a ravine north of Rocktower Pond—the lake where you camp at the beginning of the game. The location is shown above, but you’ll need some guidance to reach the treasure, as it’s situated atop a rock that you must descend from above. The route from the base of The Devil’s Finger, the prominent peak in the area, is detailed in the clip below.

Climbing up here is worthwhile, as there’s a small container with around 200 Groschen at the top. From the pinnacle, descend until you reach the first fallen tree, cross it to the west side of the ravine, and then head south along the edge until you’re aligned with the rock strut where the skeleton is located.

You’ll need to drop down onto it, which may cause a bit of fall damage. The sack next to the skeleton contains jewelry, 180 Groschen, a golden cup, and a silver chalice.

The third treasure map location is in the Kuttenberg Underground, near the entrance to Kuttenberg in the second region. Look for a ruined house by the road and enter it to find the entrance to the underground. The exact route from the entrance is shown below, but here are step-by-step instructions:

This leads to a pile of rubble with a small sack on top containing the treasure. If you’re unsure you’re in the right spot, look for a circle and dots marker carved into the wooden pillar just before the rubble. The treasure includes a Scapular with Aperture, The Strength of the Knight III book, and 210 Groschen.

The final treasure location is near the Millstone Quarry, south of Bylany in the southeast of the Kuttenberg region. If you’re having trouble locating Bylany, it’s southeast of Miskowitz and southwest of Kuttenberg. Head south from Bylany along the road until you reach the forest, cross the river, and continue south to find the quarry.

As indicated on the map, follow the millstone markers—circular white stones with a hole in the center—to locate the treasure. The exact treasure location is marked in the screenshot above, but if you want to follow the millstones, they lead southeast along the riverbed before turning right up a climbing stream, then left until you reach a fallen tree damming the river. The clip below shows the precise route from the quarry.

Just beyond this point, you’ll find a final millstone and a chest containing a Saxon Kettle Hat, a Gemstone Silver Ring, the Skullcrushers III book, and 125 Groschen.

While this isn’t an exhaustive list, these are the other treasure map solutions we’ve covered in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Each linked guide provides an in-depth look at the treasure locations:

You’ll find one map during the main story in the Lackey quest, where you assist huntsman Vostotek in rescuing his horse from poachers.

Another map is obtained from a drowned treasure hunter in the lake near the Nomad Camp in Trosky.

One map is actually scrawled on a cave wall in Apollonia by a skeleton, unlike the others that are typically on parchment.

Lastly, there’s a riddle you acquire in Kuttenberg from a randomly encountered man named Bolek, which, while not a traditional map, still leads you to treasure.
