Samsung unveils a fresh design for the Z Fold 8 in a Spider-Man teaser.

Samsung has teased the new design of its upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 8 in a recent video for Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The clip features glimpses of Spider-Man interacting with a foldable phone that appears to be pulled from a 3D printer and opened like a book, though the visuals are largely obscured by lens flares. This new model is expected to sport a wider, passport-like shape.

In addition, there are whispers of Apple preparing a foldable iPhone with a similar form factor, potentially set to debut later this year. Samsung is anticipated to unveil the wider Galaxy Z Fold 8 along with its other new devices during a Galaxy Unpacked event on July 22nd.

According to reports, the Spider-Man teaser also showcases the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, Galaxy Z Flip 8, and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. Unlike the obscured shots of the Fold 8, these devices are presented clearly, but they closely resemble Samsung’s existing lineup, with the flip phone appearing nearly identical to the current Z Flip 7.
