Grab a fantastic Stranger Things-inspired PC game for free while it lasts!
This week, the Epic Games Store is treating players to two free PC games. For a limited time, you can snag a nostalgic turn-based adventure and a chilling horror experience at no cost.
In Echo Generation, a group of kids in a small town battles eerie, supernatural creatures while uncovering a conspiracy. This turn-based adventure from developer Cococucumber lets you explore Maple Town alongside pet companions, searching for hidden secrets. You’ll encounter enemies and can also dive into over 30 minigames to keep the fun going. The game boasts a Very Positive rating from players on Steam, and a sequel was released earlier this year.
The second free title is Luto, a psychological horror game that delves into themes of isolation and death. You find yourself trapped in a house filled with a maze of secrets and terrors. While the atmosphere is thick with tension, you’ll also face puzzles as you attempt to escape. Just be aware that Luto comes with a disclaimer from developer Broken Bird Games, addressing its themes of anxiety, depression, and suicide. It also holds a Very Positive rating on Steam, with more than 1,100 player reviews.
If either Echo Generation or Luto piques your interest, simply log in to the Epic Games Store to claim them. These games will be available for free until Thursday, July 23, at 11 a.m. EDT.
Plus, get ready for 12 more free games arriving in July!
