Apple is set to launch an upgraded OLED iPad Mini amid rising prices.

The iPad Mini is set to receive an OLED display upgrade as early as October, marking the most significant update since its redesign in 2021. Rumors about an OLED version have been circulating for months, and it’s been noted that this new model will likely come with a price increase. Recently, it was also mentioned that the cost of AppleCare Plus for Macs and iPads is going up.

The anticipated price hike for the iPad Mini seems even more probable following Apple’s recent price increases across its entire product range, which included a $100 bump for the current iPad Mini. Tim Cook indicated that these price adjustments are a response to the ongoing RAM shortage, which could persist for several years, suggesting that the OLED iPad Mini will likely be more expensive than its predecessor.

In addition to the OLED iPad Mini, there are plans for upgrades to the iPad Air and the standard iPad, expected early next year. The base iPad is rumored to receive a minor refresh with a new processor but no significant design changes. There are also indications of a future OLED upgrade for the iPad Air, with speculation that it could arrive sometime next year. Furthermore, updates for the iPad Pro and Apple Pencil might be on the horizon for this coming spring.
