Stardew Valley Teams Up with Magic: The Gathering for Exclusive Secret Lair Drop Expected to Fly Off the Shelves
ConcernedApe is hard at work these days, primarily focused on developing Haunted Chocolatier. However, he recently made a stop at Wizards of the Coast headquarters to collaborate on three Magic: The Gathering Secret Lair drops inspired by Stardew Valley.
These limited-edition cards capture the charming, pixelated essence of Pelican Town and its surroundings, creating intriguing yet fitting combinations. For instance, Swords to Plowshares and Crop Rotation are ideal inclusions for a game centered around farming. If you prefer connecting with the locals, there’s a Community Center card that reimagines the Fountainportland card from Magic: The Gathering.
Each of the three Stardew Valley x Secret Lair sets features either remixed versions of existing Magic: The Gathering cards or cards adorned with artwork from the game. Additionally, there’s a brand-new card created specifically for this set, aptly named Stardew Valley, along with a special promo card called Lucky Purple Memento. Here’s a breakdown of what each set includes:
1x Crop Rotation, 1x Fountainport as “Community Center”, 1x Homeward Path as “Pelican Town”, 1x Command Tower as “Tower of Rasmodius”, 1x Yavimaya, Cradle of Growth as “Valley Farmstead”
1x Atsushi, Blazing Sky as “Royal Serpent”, 1x Miotic Slime as “Big Slime”, 1x Arcane Signet, 1x Sword of Forge and Frontier as “Galaxy Sword”, 1x Treasure Vault, 1x Ooze Token, 1x Treasure Token
These cards will be available for purchase starting July 27th, but given their limited print run, they’re likely to sell out quickly.
