Hold on, are we really getting a Flukeman Lego minifigure from The X-Files?

Lego’s long-awaited X-Files set finally has a release date, price, and an entertaining trailer to showcase it. This set features eight minifigures, including the iconic duo Mulder and Scully, but the standout surprise is the inclusion of a Flukeman minifig. I never thought I’d see an official Flukeman Lego figure, but here we are!

On July 21, Lego dropped a live-action trailer featuring Gillian Anderson, the actress behind Dana Scully, who receives an early copy of the upcoming X-Files set (21369). If you, like me, grew up watching the original X-Files in the ’90s, this nostalgic video with Anderson is sure to bring a smile. I particularly enjoyed the moment when she puts on a medical examiner glove and reminisces about how much she missed that sound.

The X-Files set is set to launch in August, boasting 1,478 pieces and a price tag of $200, which seems reasonable given its impressive design. It includes a detailed Lego version of Mulder’s iconic office, topped with a forest scene featuring a large black UFO hovering above. Be sure to explore the screenshots on Lego’s site for hidden Easter eggs and details tailored for X-Files fans.

As previously mentioned, the set comes with eight new minifigures, including Mulder, Scully, Skinner, a grey alien, and the Cigarette Smoking Man. However, the true highlight of this X-Files set is undoubtedly the Flukeman minifig. I’m genuinely amazed at how well this figure turned out and that we’re even getting it. If there’s one monster-of-the-week to immortalize in Lego form, Flukeman is the perfect choice—a bizarre, grotesque, and memorable character who made a single appearance in season two but has since become one of the franchise’s most iconic monsters. Kudos to you, Flukeman, you quirky legend!
