Spider-Man: Brand New Day Introduces Fresh Suits in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2

It’s an exciting week for Spider-Man fans, and Insomniac Games is in celebration mode. With the launch of Spider-Man: Brand New Day—the latest adventure in the MCU for our favorite web-slinger—and the upcoming fighting game Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls, new suits are making their way to Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.

Back in June, it was revealed that Spider-Man’s Brand New Day suit would be added to the game, and now the Fresh Start Suit for Peter is available. The suit inspired by Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls is also dropping today, and while it might come as a surprise, it’s definitely a welcome addition. This suit brings Peter’s look from the upcoming tag-team fighter into Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. The Fresh Start suit has a sleek design, but it feels somewhat similar to existing options. In contrast, the Tōkon skin boasts stunning visual flair that truly makes it pop.

Alongside these two new suits, the latest update introduces several minor technical enhancements. The game now supports Enhanced PSSR on PlayStation 5 Pro and includes a Power Saver Mode. Even three years post-launch, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 continues to stand out as one of the finest Marvel games ever created.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day hits theaters on July 31, continuing the story from 2021’s No Way Home. In this new chapter, Tom Holland’s Peter Parker navigates a world where his closest friends and family have no memory of him or his Spider-Man identity. He faces a mysterious new threat portrayed by Sadie Sink, whose character has sparked plenty of speculation. The fourth MCU Spider-Man film has received high praise, with some saying it not only matches but may even exceed the legendary standards set by Sam Raimi’s initial Spider-Man films.
