A new free Batman game has just launched on Amazon.

To mark the arrival of season two of its animated Batman series, Amazon is offering a surprise Batman game through Luna. You won’t need a console or a gaming PC to dive in, and you don’t even have to own a gaming controller. The best part? It’s completely free.

In Batman: Caped Crusader Chronicles, players join forces with The Dark Knight to tackle crimes throughout Gotham City. The game features 11 episodic cases, showcasing iconic villains like The Joker and Scarecrow. Developers promise “unique detective-themed minigames” that can be enjoyed with up to three friends. One player will need an Amazon Prime membership and a smartphone that supports Amazon Luna, the cloud gaming service from the retail giant. This Caped Crusader adventure is part of Amazon Luna’s GameNight, which includes a variety of social party games.

Amazon appears eager to promote Luna, as evidenced by the plethora of free games available. The streaming service currently boasts titles like the narrative-driven superhero game Dispatch, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, and Jackbox Party Pack. Interestingly, many subscribers are unaware of their access to these games. To enhance visibility, Amazon has recently introduced a “Luna” tab in its Prime Video section. However, it may still be tricky for users to locate, which is unfortunate since there are some excellent games available for streaming, including Fallout 4 and Alan Wake 2.

As for the 1940s noir-themed series, while it may not reach the heights of Batman: The Animated Series, the first season is still quite enjoyable. The latest 10-episode season, released on July 31, offers a nostalgic mix that occasionally captures the magic of its predecessor. The Joker shines in this season, which might be enough to draw in viewers.

When you see the Bat, it’s already too late.
