New Pokémon Game Launches on Xbox Game Pass Today
While Pokémon may not make its way to Xbox, the latest title from Game Freak has launched on Xbox Game Pass as a day-one release. **Beast of Reincarnation** is now available and leads a fresh lineup of games arriving on the service this August.
In **Beast of Reincarnation**, you step into the shoes of a young woman and her dog companion as they navigate a post-apocalyptic, futuristic Japan. The world is filled with hostile, robot-like golems and corrupted creatures. Together, Emma and Koo will engage in intense battles against massive monsters as they embark on a quest to save their world.
The game has received a mixed bag of reviews so far. One reviewer noted that while **Beast of Reincarnation** delivers exhilarating action backed by robust RPG mechanics typical of the studio, its overall identity feels muddled by unpolished concepts borrowed from some of the best games of the past decade.
But **Beast of Reincarnation** isn’t the only title making its debut on Game Pass this month. Recently, Xbox unveiled the complete list of games coming to the subscription service in early August, which also features open beta access for the upcoming **Gears of War: E-Day**. Expect a variety of new experiences in the weeks ahead.
Keep in mind that a few titles will be leaving on August 15, so make sure to play them while you can.
Xbox Game Pass offers a subscription model that lets players stream both new and classic games across Xbox, PC, and handheld devices. The Essential tier is available for $9.99 a month, featuring over 50 games, while the Premium tier costs $14.99 monthly and includes more than 200 games. For the ultimate experience, the Ultimate tier is priced at $22.99 a month, granting access to over 500 games. PC gamers without an Xbox console can opt for the PC-only plan at $13.99 a month, which includes over 300 games.
