Keychron’s Wireless Hall Effect Keyboard Hits Record Low Price
Finding a keyboard with customizable Hall effect sensors is now more budget-friendly than ever, and you don’t have to sacrifice quality for a great price. The Keychron K2 HE, featuring a sleek aluminum design and a compact 75-percent layout, is currently available for $103.99, down from $130, matching its lowest price of the year. If you prefer a wood-sided version, it’s priced at $111.99, also reflecting a 20 percent discount.
This keyboard offers versatile connectivity options, including USB-C, Bluetooth, and a stable 2.4GHz connection. You can easily customize key bindings, actuation points, and more using Keychron’s web-based tool, or even flash your own firmware thanks to its open-source QMK support.
If you’re new to Hall effect keyboards, they provide excellent control over the force required to press a key. The sensors also feature Rapid Trigger technology, allowing each switch to be primed for another input before it’s fully released, giving you an edge in competitive gaming. The switches are hot-swappable, and the keyboard is compatible with Windows, macOS, and Linux, making it a stylish and functional choice for gamers.
Other noteworthy deals include:
* While I typically hesitate to recommend Nvidia RTX 5060 gaming laptops over $1,000, there’s a solid offer at Walmart for a $1,099 model that’s $600 off. The Gigabyte Aero X16 boasts a 16-inch 1600p 165Hz IPS display, an AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 processor, the aforementioned Nvidia GPU, 16GB of 5,600MHz DDR5 RAM, and a 1TB SSD. Although I haven’t personally tested this model, Gigabyte is known for quality, and this laptop has a sleek design reminiscent of the Razer Blade. It can be upgraded to 64GB of RAM and 4TB of storage if prices drop in the future. A configuration with an RTX 5070 and 32GB of RAM is available for $1,499.99.
* Sony’s latest InZone gaming headsets have hit their lowest prices today. The InZone H9 Mk. 2, their flagship wireless headset, features the same drivers as the WH-1000XM6 headphones, along with a comfortable design and excellent active noise cancellation. Originally priced at $349.99, they’re now more reasonably priced at $248 on Amazon and $249.99 at another retailer. The sound quality is outstanding. Additionally, the wired InZone H6 Air is discounted for the first time, now available for $178 (down from $199) at Amazon and $179.99 elsewhere. These lightweight headsets have an open-back design, providing a more immersive sound experience, though they do sacrifice some sound isolation.
* Hoto’s USB-C rechargeable electric screwdriver is frequently discounted during major sales, but it’s also available at a lower price on regular Mondays. This screwdriver features three torque settings and comes with 12 two-inch bits, currently priced at $27.99 on Amazon when you use the code WH4J6L4A at checkout (otherwise it’s $50). It’s a handy tool that can help reduce strain from repetitive wrist motions, and it includes a built-in circular LED light for working in dimly lit areas. Walmart offers a similar Hoto screwdriver for $29.99, though it includes fewer Torx bits.
