Pokémon Pokopia Player Uncovers Way to Access Past Event Pokémon

Since the launch of Pokémon Pokopia in March 2026, players have enjoyed a variety of in-game events, each introducing new Pokémon. Notable additions include the entire Hoppip evolution line, Sableye, Jirachi, and currently, Feebas and Milotic as part of the “Fetching Scales for Feebas” event.

However, if you missed these events or started playing Pokopia after they ended, it can be frustratingly impossible to legitimately catch these Pokémon again. While you could “time travel” by adjusting the date and time on your Nintendo Switch 2 to match the event period, this method is technically considered cheating. Although it doesn’t affect anyone else—since Pokopia is a single-player experience—it falls outside the intended game mechanics.

Fortunately, a player known as ArcadiaCitizen_ on Reddit has discovered a workaround to help you recruit those elusive Pokémon: all you need is a Nintendo Switch Online membership.

Head to any Pokémon Center computer and purchase the Mysterious Goggles item from the shop. Wearing these goggles allows you to visit another player’s dream island. While you can’t interact with items there, you can take pictures of what they have. By entering the code 6DXL PD6F, you’ll be transported to a developer-created island featuring every item and Pokémon in Pokopia.

To capture images, equip the camera by pressing the minus button, then hit Y to switch to the mode that highlights specific items. You can snap up to 20 pictures of different items at once. Simply locate the items that correspond to the habitats of the Pokémon you need, then return to the 3D printer in any Pokémon Center to print those items for yourself. As long as you have enough Pokémetal (and Rare Pokémetal), you can create as many as you want.

For instance, I was still early in my Pokopia adventure when the “More Spores for Hoppip” event occurred, causing me to miss out on Skiploom and Jumpluff. On the developers’ dream island, right next to the Pokémon Center, I found all the items from that event. After snapping photos of them and spending some Pokémetal to create the habitats in Palette Town, both Skiploom and Jumpluff appeared almost instantly.

This method can be used to gather any items and Pokémon you may have missed. For details on other habitats you might need, refer to the event habitat guide.
