WiiM’s impressive smart speaker, reminiscent of the HomePod, is now nearly $50 cheaper.
The smart speaker landscape is largely ruled by big names like Apple, Google, Sonos, and Amazon. However, the WiiM 100W Sound smart speaker stands out as a compelling option, offering flexibility by supporting over 20 music services without being tied to any specific platform. With Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and ethernet connectivity, it provides various ways to connect. It also supports popular standards like Chromecast, Spotify Connect, DLNA, and Alexa Cast, making it a great addition to existing multi-room setups within the Google Home or Amazon Echo ecosystems. While AirPlay 2 isn’t supported, the Pro Music Streamer does have that capability.
Currently, both the black and white versions are available at a 15% discount, bringing their price down from $299.99 to $254.15.
WiiM also offers the Sound Lite, which is similarly discounted by 15%. Originally priced at $229, it’s now $194.65. The Sound Lite shares the same dimensions, connectivity options, and performance as the Sound, plus it features AI that adapts sound quality to your room. However, it lacks the 1.8-inch touch display for album art and doesn’t come with a voice remote, which is sold separately for around $33. You can still wirelessly pair these speakers with other recent WiiM products to create a surround sound experience.
Other notable deals include:
* Apple’s AirPods Max 2 over-ear, noise-canceling headphones are now priced at $429 as part of a special sale, down from $549. This is their second-best price ever, only surpassed by a previous Prime Day deal. While some colors are available at this price, the sound quality and noise cancellation have received praise, though a proper carrying case would have been a nice addition at full price. With this discount, you can afford a better case with the savings.
* If you’re in the market for a budget-friendly TV, the 58-inch Hisense 4K QLED Roku TV might fit the bill. Normally $399.99, it’s now down to $189.99. While it may not be the most impressive model, it offers solid features for the price, including built-in Roku for streaming, support for Dolby Vision, HDR 10, and HLG, along with a game mode that features variable refresh rate and auto low latency mode, though it maxes out at a 60Hz refresh rate.
* The Godox ES45 key light is back on sale for $119, offering a $20 discount. While it may not match Elgato’s Key Light in every spec, it provides excellent value at $60 less. With adjustable color temperature and brightness, its settings can be easily controlled via a rechargeable magnetic controller. This key light is perfect for enhancing your room’s lighting, whether you want to illuminate yourself directly or create a soft glow by bouncing light off the walls.
