Peacock Streaming Service Increases Subscription Rates Again
Peacock is once again raising its subscription prices.
NBCUniversal has announced price hikes across all three tiers of Peacock, marking the fourth increase in just four years. The new rates will apply to both new and returning subscribers starting August 18, while existing customers will see the changes on or after September 17, depending on their billing cycle.
The ad-supported Peacock Premium plan will rise from $10.99 to $12.99 per month. Premium Plus will increase from $16.99 to $19.99 per month, and the more affordable Peacock Select tier, which includes NBC and Bravo content but excludes movies, sports, and original programming, will go from $7.99 to $8.99.
Here’s a quick look at the updated pricing for Peacock:
Despite the price increases, subscribers will still have access to a diverse range of content. Peacock features films like The Super Mario Galaxy Movie and Obsession, original series such as The Five-Star Weekend, and popular reality shows like The Traitors and Love Island USA.
This latest hike follows Peacock’s previous increase in July 2025, which came after adjustments in 2024 and 2023.
Interestingly, this price adjustment coincides with a notable moment for the service. Peacock reported its first quarterly profit during the second quarter of 2026, achieving $189 million in adjusted EBITDA. The platform added 2 million subscribers in that quarter, bringing its total to 48 million, while subscription revenue surged over 50% and advertising revenue nearly 70%.
Peacock isn’t the only streaming service raising prices; Netflix, HBO Max, Apple TV, Paramount+, and others have also increased their rates in recent years as they seek to create more sustainable streaming models.
For Peacock users, the trend is particularly evident, as this marks the fourth consecutive annual price increase.
