GTA 6 Leak Raises Questions Amidst Major Crypto Scheme Developments

Rockstar has been actively working to shut down the activities of “Cyberleek,” the hacker or group behind the recent leaks of GTA 6. Despite their efforts, the leaker has multiple backup accounts, leading to a steady stream of new leaks. Among their posts, Cyberleek has been promoting a meme coin called $CYBERLEEK, which they created. This has allowed online investigators to piece together troubling motives behind the leaks.

The GTA 6 leaker has become a hot topic in the gaming community. This enigmatic figure reportedly obtained an early build of the game and has been sharing footage online for several days, revealing crucial details about the game world and gameplay mechanics. While some fans are eager to soak up any early information, others are less enthusiastic about the leaks.

Cyberleek has framed their actions as a Robin Hood-style response to Rockstar and Take-Two Interactive’s policies, particularly the absence of a physical version of GTA 6 at launch, the game’s high price, and the recent trailer debuting on Netflix. However, some fans have dismissed Cyberleek’s claims as mere “virtue signaling,” suggesting ulterior motives behind the leaks.

A user named Vice Cit on GTAForums has conducted a deep dive into the $CYBERLEEK coin and uncovered some intriguing details about the leaker, indicating a potential long con aimed at profiting from fans. Vice Cit claims that Cyberleek invested $29,000 to create the coin and its website. On the Solana blockchain, they earn revenue through trading fees whenever the coin is bought or sold. According to Vice Cit, Cyberleek’s investment paid off quickly, raking in over $30,000 in trading fees within the first 24 hours of the leaks.

Additionally, it appears that when the one billion $CYBERLEEK coins were minted, 270 million were transferred to a private wallet on the questionable KuCoin platform. It’s suspected that these coins were moved to Cyberleek’s wallet to be sold gradually as their value rises. Vice Cit warns that before the leaker is caught, they might release one final, explosive leak to spike the coin’s value, allowing them to cash in on their 270 million coins, which could be worth around $391,000.

Rockstar faced criticism when it announced that GTA 6 would not be available in physical format. Cyberleek has consistently claimed that their leaks were intended to pressure Rockstar into producing a physical version of the game. However, as new allegations and evidence emerge, the situation grows increasingly complicated. If this was indeed a crypto-driven scheme for profit, the pressing question remains: how did the leakers gain access to one of the most tightly guarded games of the last decade? Rockstar and Take-Two will need to find answers soon.

While Rockstar may be furious, the situation feels more like an insult than a serious blow.
