A highly anticipated game of 2025 will be released in a physical edition along with a collectible vinyl.
Sony stirred up quite a buzz globally last month with its announcement to phase out physical discs for PlayStation games starting in 2028. Fortunately, many studios and developers are still committed to physical media. One such studio is AdHoc, known for their 2025 superhero workplace comedy, Dispatch. The game has garnered numerous accolades, including three BAFTAs, and has sold over four million copies since its release. Now, it’s set to launch a new physical edition in collaboration with PM Studios. Additionally, AdHoc is planning to release a vinyl record set featuring Dispatch’s original soundtrack with Lost In Cult Records.
You can now preorder physical editions of Dispatch from your favorite retailer, while the vinyl soundtrack will be exclusively available through UK-based Lost In Cult, which does offer international shipping. Here’s what you need to know:
**Price:** $49.99
**Platforms:** Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X
The SteelBook Edition includes everything from the Deluxe Edition — the game, comics, art, soundtrack, booklet, and poster. The only distinction is the case: a SteelBook featuring custom box art designed by AdHoc Studio and printed by Scanavo. AdHoc mentions that “the SteelBook may release slightly later than the standard edition depending on manufacturing times.”
**Price:** $59.99
**Platforms:** Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X
This collection features the complete Dispatch soundtrack, pressed to vinyl by Lost In Cult Records as a 12″, 140g, 3xLP set. It includes the original score by Andrew Arcadi and Skyler Barto, along with the game’s licensed tracks from artists like Future Islands, BADBADNOTGOOD, Caroline Kingsbury, THOT SQUAD, Deep Dreem, Primer, Big Black Delta, Lance Cantstopolis, Ben Khan, gen beamish, Bershy, and Fartbarf. Each copy showcases brand-new artwork from Dispatch Art Director Derek Stratton.
There are two versions available, both priced at £59.99 GBP. The Prime Black Edition features all three records in classic black. The Astral Variant includes the same three records, each pressed in colors representing key Superhero Dispatch Network characters: Mecha Man blue, Invisigal translucent purple, and Blonde Blazer red and yellow. The first 500 Astral sets will come with a certificate of authenticity signed by composer Andrew Arcadi. Preorders are open now on the Lost In Cult website.
For Dispatch superfans looking to snag both the Deluxe Edition and the vinyl, a 10% discount is available when purchasing both through Lost In Cult. If you prefer the SteelBook Edition, you’ll need to order from a different retailer. All game editions and vinyl are expected to ship in Q4 2026.
