GeForce Now Now Supports Steam Controller

Nvidia’s GeForce Now cloud gaming service is set to embrace Valve’s Steam Controller and Steam Machine later this year. This means you can enjoy gaming with Valve’s impressive gamepad while using the GeForce Now app on your Steam Deck or Steam Machine. For those on Windows or macOS, support for the Steam Controller will arrive at a later date, according to Nvidia.

In addition to this, GeForce Now is rolling out several enhancements. Nvidia will introduce new DLSS 4.5 controls for DLSS Super Resolution, Dynamic Frame Generation, and Ray Reconstruction, with Ray Reconstruction officially launching in early access for RTX GPUs. The previously announced GOG single sign-on feature is now live, and the service is expected to expand to more of Amazon’s Fire TV Sticks later this year, with subscription options available through Amazon. Plus, as of last week, GeForce Now is now compatible with Firefox.

Nvidia’s announcements also touched on the upcoming RTX Spark chip family, with EA, Embark, and Ubisoft planning to support it with titles like EA Sports F1 25, Apex Legends, Arc Raiders, and Anno 117: Pax Romana, all set to launch this fall. Additionally, EA is working on integrating its Javelin Anticheat technology into its major multiplayer games.

Further details were shared about the path tracing update for 007 First Light, enhancements to RTX Remix, and more, all of which can be found in the company’s latest blog post.
