Discover Torrent’s Cosmetics in Elden Ring’s Tarnished Edition

The new Torrent skins in Elden Ring’s Tarnished Edition can be a bit elusive, designed to entice newcomers. But given it’s FromSoftware, it’s no surprise they’re somewhat hidden. There are three Spectral Steed Regalias to discover for Torrent across the Lands Between, along with fresh armor and weapons. I’ve managed to find one so far, and I’ll share the others once I track them down.

You can snag the first Torrent skin after taking down the demigod, Godrick the Grafted, in Stormveil Castle located in Limgrave. Once you defeat him, head into the throne room and go through the right-hand doorway behind the throne. Elden Ring players will recall that this room was previously empty, but now it houses a chest containing the Spectral Steed Regalia: Tree Sentinel, which transforms Torrent to resemble that formidable mounted boss.

Once you have a Spectral Steed Regalia, you can switch it up at any site of grace. Just select “change spectral steed appearance” and choose your desired look. There are two additional Spectral Steed Regalias in Tarnished Edition: one inspired by the Night’s Cavalry and another linked to the Carian royalty. Given that the first one is tied to defeating a demigod, I suspect the other two are located near Rennala in Raya Lucaria and Morgott in Leyndell.

If you already have a character in Elden Ring or aren’t starting fresh for Tarnished Edition, you can still backtrack to grab this chest, even if you defeated Godrick ages ago.
