Sony WH-1000XM5 Headphones Hit Record Low Price Again
Sony is joining the Labor Day sales frenzy with a standout deal on the WH-1000XM5 headphones. These over-ear headphones, known for their exceptional sound quality and active noise cancellation, are now priced at $198 at major retailers. Originally retailing for $399.99, they usually hover around $250, making this $50 discount a great opportunity to snag them at a price we last saw during Prime Day 2026. Plus, you don’t need a Prime membership to take advantage of this offer.
The XM5s debuted in 2022, and despite being a bit older, they still hold their own against newer models. While the 2025 XM6s offer minor upgrades in sound and noise cancellation, along with a return to the compact folding design, the XM5s remain an excellent choice for anyone looking for quality headphones. There are whispers that Sony might reintroduce the XM4s at a more budget-friendly price, but they likely won’t match the current affordability of the XM5s.
