Xbox Offers Six Free Games for Weekend Play

Xbox is kicking off a free weekend of gaming as part of its Free Play Days initiative. Players can dive into six different games over the next few days. Game Pass members will enjoy access to all these titles, regardless of their subscription level. However, this event isn’t just for subscribers; those without a Game Pass can also play two of the featured games.

Free Play Days is a regular event on Xbox that lets gamers try out titles without any cost. If the games are short enough, players might even complete them entirely for free.

This Free Play Days event runs from Thursday, September 10, to Sunday, September 13. During this period, all Xbox Game Pass members can enjoy Borderlands 4, CarX Drift Racing Online, F1 25 2026 Edition, and Surviving Mars: Relaunched. The lineup includes a variety of genres, ensuring there’s something for everyone. Additionally, all Xbox players can access EA Sports Madden NFL 27 until September 13, along with a two-hour trial of Dustborn.

Throughout the weekend, some of the games featured in this campaign will be available at discounted prices, meaning the fun can continue even after September 13.
