World of Warcraft: Forever Beta Launch Details – Sign Up and Experience Blizzard’s Take on WoW Classic

World of Warcraft: Forever is launching this week with a month-long beta, leading up to its full release in November. This marks the first chance to dive into new quests, dungeons, and class abilities in a version of the MMO that remains rooted in the original game.

Here’s what you need to know about the WoW: Forever beta, how to gain access, and what’s included.

The beta kicks off on Thursday, September 17, exclusively on PC. Players who have preordered either the Skyborne Epic Pack or the Warcraft Forever Collection will gain immediate access when it goes live.

While exact launch times haven’t been confirmed, previous WoW betas typically start between 11 AM PT and 3 PM PT. This post will be updated with specific times once they’re announced. You’ll have until October 21 to explore the game during the beta period.

There are two ways to join the WoW: Forever beta. The first is by purchasing one of the premium editions from the store. Both the Skyborne Epic Pack ($59.99) and the Warcraft Forever Collection ($79.99) provide beta access. Alternatively, you can opt for a chance entry by signing up on the WoW: Forever website using the “Beta Opt-in” button at the top.

To check your beta access, open the Battle.net launcher, navigate to the dropdown menu under World of Warcraft, and select “World of Warcraft: Forever.”

The beta will unfold in two phases. Initially, players will be capped at level 20. After two weeks, the level cap will increase to 30 and remain there until the beta concludes.

All races and classes will be available, including the new Skyborne elves for those who preorder.

Here’s how the phases will break down: Phase 1 (September 17) and Phase 2 (around October 8).
