Modders Bring a True Endgame Experience to Star Wars Zero Company

Star Wars Zero Company is an engaging strategy game, but it falls short when it comes to a satisfying endgame experience. After finishing the main storyline, players are encouraged to start a new save file, which offers some extra customization options and the ability to recruit clone troopers right from the beginning. While there hasn’t been any official word on an endgame update for Star Wars Zero Company, a dedicated fan has stepped in to enhance the experience with a substantial endgame mod.

Cafiso’s Aftermath DLC mod, which debuted earlier in September and has recently gained popularity, introduces an impressive 1,000 additional rotations (in-game days) to the strategy game. Once players on PC complete the main story, they can continue tackling operations and missions, leveling up their characters and acquiring more gear.

But this mod does more than just extend gameplay time. It also introduces new enemy encounters and additional layers of progression to keep players engaged. Boss fights against iconic characters like Boba Fett, Palpatine, Gar Saxon, Rook Kast, Clone Commander, Purge Trooper, and Imperial Jet Trooper Commander have been added, along with the ability to recruit characters such as Rex, Anakin, Cody, Baker, and Captain Crovo. The Den Level cap has been raised to 15, character bonds can now reach +12, and focus trees have expanded to 11 tiers.

Additionally, players can activate an “Aftermath Threat” system that boosts enemy health, shields, and damage after each encounter, as well as an “Aftermath Fatigue” system that debuffs operators if they are used in consecutive missions. This fan-made mod is quite impressive and offers a much more engaging experience than simply restarting the game.

As for official updates for Star Wars Zero Company, there hasn’t been much news. While the game has seen some fixes since its launch, many developers at Bit Reactor were furloughed prior to release, making it seem unlikely that any major DLC or endgame content is on the horizon. However, mods like this one should signal to EA and Bit Reactor that there is a strong demand for more content in Zero Company.

Star Wars Zero Company is available on PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X, with the Aftermath DLC mod being exclusive to the PC version of the game.

Zero Company has a bit more of that Andor vibe than you might expect.
