Netflix unveils upcoming K-Pop-themed demon hunting series.
KPop Demon Hunters enthusiasts have something exciting on the horizon. An immersive experience titled KPop Demon Hunters: The Immersive Experience has been announced, set to take place at select Netflix House locations. This event promises an interactive, music-driven adventure.
A highlight of the experience is the chance to meet the charmingly named Derpy Tiger.
Participants will kick things off backstage with Huntr/x just before the launch of their world tour. However, chaos ensues when the film’s villain, Gwi-Ma, attacks the venue. Guests will team up with Huntr/x to battle demons through interactive sets, screens, and cutting-edge 3D technology. The narrative unfolds through music and engaging challenges, featuring live actors and custom animations, all set to the film’s soundtrack, which includes tracks like “Golden” and “How It’s Done.”
Marian Lee, Netflix’s chief marketing officer, shared insights about the event:
Fans don’t just want to watch KPop Demon Hunters; they want to immerse themselves in the world of HUNTR/X. Netflix House is the perfect venue for fandoms to thrive year-round, making it an ideal setting for everything KPop Demon Hunters fans have been craving. From singing along to their favorite songs to battling demons and hanging out with Derpy Tiger, every aspect is designed for fans of all ages to experience this universe just as they envisioned it.
The event will be hosted at Netflix House locations in Dallas and Philadelphia. MasterCard customers can snag tickets starting September 22, with Netflix members gaining access on September 29. General sales for the public will begin on October 1. General admission is priced at $39, while tickets for children aged three to 12 are $34. There’s also a VIP package available for $89 on weekdays and $99 on weekends, which includes access to the Netflix VIP lounge, an exclusive themed gift, and priority entry—likely allowing guests to skip the lines.
Earlier this year, it was revealed that a sequel to KPop Demon Hunters is in the works, helmed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans. However, it may take some time to arrive. Initial reports suggested a release by 2029, but a Sony Pictures Animation executive indicated that timeline might be overly optimistic, considering the lengthy production process for animated films.
KPop Demon Hunters fans passionately share their love for the movie and its music, even if they sometimes struggle to keep up with the lyrics.
