Rockstar Unveils $400 Grand Theft Auto 6 Collector’s Box Without the Game

Starting today, you can pre-order an exciting collection of GTA-themed merchandise through Rockstar’s store. This newly unveiled set, titled GTA 6: The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection, is priced at $400 and comes packed with a variety of Vice City-inspired goodies. However, it’s important to note that the game itself is not included.

On Thursday, Rockstar introduced the Vice City Collection as part of its promotional campaign for GTA 6, which is anticipated to be one of the biggest video game releases of the year and possibly in gaming history. This collection is aimed squarely at die-hard fans who are willing to splurge and have already secured their copy of the game, set to launch on November 19. The $400 collection will ship on the same day as GTA 6, but as Rockstar clarifies, the game must be purchased separately.

So, what do you get for that $400 price tag? Here’s a rundown of the items included in this newly announced collection:

• Macca the Gator Figure
• Oakley® Frogskins™ Sunglasses
• Leonida Keys Crossbody Bag
• New Era® 9FORTY Snapback Hat
• Macca the Gator Magnetic Mirror
• Chunkee the Manatee Shot Glass
• Vice City Collectible Swizzle Spoon
• Vice City Razor Blade Keychain
• Leonida Keys Enamel Pin Set in Metal Tin
• Leonida Keys Sticker Pack in Stash Bag
• Double-Sided Souvenir Poster with Map of Leonida

Much of the collection draws inspiration from “Leonida’s hit TV show, Macca the Gator.” Fans may recognize references to this fictional show from T-shirts and various pre-release trailers. While I’m a huge GTA fan, I can’t say I’m particularly excited about these characters yet, as I haven’t seen the show, which is expected to be available in GTA 6. Perhaps it will be entertaining enough to make me want that Chunkee the Manatee shot glass.

The standout items in this collection are likely to appeal to GTA: Vice City enthusiasts, especially the pin set featuring characters from the show, presented in a case reminiscent of the classic game’s iconic cover. I’m also intrigued by the double-sided poster that includes a full map of Leonida. A good paper map is a cherished feature of the GTA series, and I hope this $400 collection isn’t the only way to get a physical map of the world in GTA 6.

It’s somewhat ironic that Grand Theft Auto 6 won’t have a physical disc release, yet Take-Two and Rockstar are eager to offer fans $400 worth of physical merchandise related to the game, including this collection and some recently revealed PlayStation controllers that do look pretty cool.

Grand Theft Auto 6 is set to launch on November 19 for PS5 and Xbox, alongside the aforementioned controllers and this newly announced $400 collector’s box.
