Unlocking the Auxiliary Lines in Part 6 of Silent Hill: Townfall

Opening the auxiliary lines at the end of Part 6 in Silent Hill: Townfall presents one of the game’s trickiest yet straightforward puzzles. If you’re feeling overwhelmed like I was, here are some tips to help you navigate through it.

**Spoilers ahead for Silent Hill: Townfall**

Before you can access the auxiliary room via the elevator, you need to grab the key located in the command center. To get in, use the code 0825. Once inside, you’ll find the key to the auxiliary room. After that, make your way to the elevator, but tread carefully—The Weight and other monsters are lurking around, so stay alert. You can make a quick dash to the elevator, but be prepared for the doors to close fast.

Once you reach the next floor, you’ll encounter a few smaller monsters that you can easily avoid. Remember to close the door behind you when you enter the auxiliary room.

Inside, you’ll see a pipe running along the walls with levers positioned at intervals. There’s also a locker and a desk with a terminal. Start by opening the locker to find a floppy disk. Then, head over to the terminal and use the floppy disk to reveal your clue: a series of lines.

At first, this might look like Morse code or some other cipher, but it’s actually simpler than it appears: it indicates whether each lever should be horizontal or vertical. However, not all levers are included—only those next to one white line for the first row, two lines for the second, and three lines for the third.

If you’ve followed the instructions correctly, the final light will turn green. That wraps up this puzzle, and you can now exit the room (watch out for any lurking creatures), head back to the elevator, and return to the control room (steering clear of The Weight and other monsters) to complete your segment in the command center.
