GTA 6 Collector’s Box Gator Statue Now Available for 3D Printing: Fans React to $400 Price Tag Without a Disc

Last week, Rockstar Games unveiled a $400 collector’s box themed around Grand Theft Auto 6, which notably does not include the game itself. Instead, it features merchandise inspired by a fictional TV show that will appear in the upcoming open-world title. This has left some players feeling dissatisfied with the box’s offerings. In response, one frustrated fan has recreated the cartoon gator statue included in the collector’s box and made it available for 3D printing, expressing their discontent over the absence of physical discs for GTA 6.

On September 24, a user named Jouhna117 shared their version of the GTA 6 gator statue on a 3D printing platform. This fan-made model closely resembles the original statue from the $400 collector’s box but comes at a fraction of the cost—less than $2 to download and print.

Jouhna117’s motivation for creating the model is clear; they are critical of Rockstar’s expensive collector’s edition and the lack of a physical disc version at launch. The 3D model features a message that won’t be found on the official item: “$400 and no disc? FUCK YOU ROCKSTAR.”

In further comments on the page for the gator statue, Jouhna117 reiterated their concerns about the pricing and the absence of a disc. “Rockstar, if you’re reading this, like, $400 USD and no disc—what’s up, man,” they wrote. “That said, enjoy it. 16 cm tall. Recommendation for resin printing.”

The overall design of the $400 collector’s box, along with its inclusion of cartoon characters from a show fans have yet to see, has not sat well with many players. There’s a strong desire for a statue featuring characters like Jason and Lucia, along with more direct nods to Vice City, rather than a cartoon series. As of September 28, the $400 collector’s box remains available for pre-order on Rockstar’s site.
