Game Pass Set to Say Goodbye to Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and Other Great Titles

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 stands out as one of the top games of 2025 and a remarkable addition to Game Pass since its launch. With over a year to dive into this turn-based RPG, players who haven’t yet experienced it need to act fast, as the Game of the Year winner will be leaving the service on October 15.

This gives you just under two weeks to either complete your adventure or start fresh. You can speed through the main storyline in under 30 hours, but if you’re aiming for a completionist run to explore all the additional content, expect to invest more than double that time. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is one of the few JRPG-inspired titles that has successfully reached a wider audience in recent years, thanks in part to its innovative dodge and parry mechanics that add a refreshing twist to the typical turn-based gameplay. Plus, the journey is worth it for the surprising twist ending.

However, Clair Obscur isn’t the only fantastic title departing from Game Pass this month. Other notable games include:

Pacific Drive and A Plague Tale: Requiem, both perfect picks for the spooky season. The former is a sci-fi survival crafting experience set in a zone filled with bizarre anomalies, all while you navigate in a haunted station wagon. A Plague Tale: Requiem immerses you in a late medieval Europe plagued by disease-ridden rats. For something lighter, Donut County is a charming puzzle game that can be completed in just a few hours and remains one of my all-time favorite indie titles.
