Pokémon Horizons is set to make its comeback on Netflix next year.

Pokémon enthusiasts can rejoice as the anime is set to make its return soon. Season 3 of Pokémon Horizons wrapped up in September for viewers in the U.S., and Season 4, titled Wonders Ahead, is just around the corner, debuting on Netflix on February 27, 2027.

Launched in 2023, Pokémon Horizons marked a new chapter in the franchise by not featuring the iconic Ash Ketchum, who has remained perpetually 10 years old. Instead, the series follows new protagonists Liko and Roy as they embark on fresh adventures focused on exploring the Paldea region rather than solely aiming to be the best. Liko has formed a bond with a Sprigatito, while Roy has taken care of a Fuecoco. Fans will be pleased to know that Pikachu still plays a significant role, this time as a captain.

In Season 4, Liko and Roy will continue their journey, leaving behind the challenges posed by Laquium from Season 3. The duo will explore the vast world of Pokémon, encountering unique Pokémon, learning about different Pokémon sleep styles, and racing alongside Legendary Pokémon. The official synopsis highlights their ongoing growth alongside their Pokémon partners. Following its notable appearance in Pokémon Pokopia, a “stowaway” Ditto will also play a key role in this upcoming season.

The Pokémon Company International’s vice president of marketing and media, Taito Okiura, expressed pride in the series, stating, “We are so proud of every single episode and hope that the themes of adventure and friendship resonate with fans. The world of Pokémon keeps growing, and we can’t wait to show Trainers what else is on the horizon.”

As with previous seasons of Pokémon Horizons, Season 4 will be released in parts, with the first segment available for streaming on Netflix starting February 27, 2027, alongside the first three seasons of the series.
