Is Jason from GTA 6 Fully Exposed?

This morning, an outlet shared an extensive interview with Rockstar regarding Grand Theft Auto 6. While there’s plenty of exciting info for fans eager for next month’s open-world crime saga, I found myself fixated on one specific detail from the preview. I’m on a mission to discover whether Jason, the not-so-bright half of the game’s crime duo, shows any nudity, and I’ve spent much of the day roping my coworkers into this quest.

In the interview with Rob Nelson, Rockstar’s Head of Development and Co-Studio Head, there’s a moment during their demo when the perspective shifts from Lucia to Jason. At this point, the other character might be engaged in various activities, like walking around or, in this case, taking a shower. Rachel Weber mentions that when the demo switches to Jason’s view, he is indeed completely naked, but her description leaves a lot to the imagination.

“[At this point Nelson switches to Jason’s POV, where our hero is… naked.]”

The term “naked” can imply different things, but since Jason was in the shower when the perspective changed, it’s reasonable to assume he was in his birthday suit. However, there’s no clarity on whether the game obscures anything below the waist. We do know from the numerous GTA 6 leaks that the game will feature full frontal nudity, but it remains unclear if this applies to the playable characters.

When this news broke, I was on a train heading to a preview event, so I couldn’t investigate further myself. Instead, I enlisted my coworkers. Rebekah Valentine, a former employee of an outlet, reached out to her old colleague for more details, only to find that Weber is currently on vacation (and no, we’re not interrupting that for this). Zack Zwiezen, our resident Grand Theft Auto expert, contacted Rockstar for clarification but hasn’t received a response. Reb then went the extra mile and called Kinda Funny’s Greg Miller during one of their livestreams to see if he could shed light on Jason’s elusive nudity from his own visit to Rockstar. Unfortunately, it turned out they experienced a different demo and didn’t see any naked Jason at all.

While the details remain murky, that hasn’t stopped GTA fans from speculating online, whether for laughs or by piecing together the information we have. So, do we know if Jason shows nudity in Grand Theft Auto 6? The answer is still up in the air, but I’m eager to find out. Rockstar, if you could just send someone outside your office to give me a thumbs-up or thumbs-down, that would be great. Or, you know, respond to our request for comment.
