⚡Taking pictures now requires an uncommon camera item.

To kick off the Sheltered Retreat project in Arc Raiders and establish your outpost, your first task is to “take a photo of any farmland house around the Ruined Homestead on The Blue Gate map.”

The Ruined Homestead is located in the southern part of the region, right next to the Olive Grove, a former battleground for those vying for lemons and olives for Scrappy. However, before you can snap that photo, you’ll need to acquire a camera item. Keep in mind that needing a camera means you can no longer rely on free loadouts for photo-related quests. It’s a good idea to stash your camera in your safe pocket until it’s time to use it.

Once you’re ready, head over to the Ruined Homestead, equip the camera, aim with the right mouse button, and take the shot with the left mouse button. Any of the main farm buildings in that area should work, making it straightforward to complete this step.
