US to Stream Execution by Firing Squad Live

The execution of the Fort Hood shooter will be streamed live, according to anonymous sources from the Defense Department. This week, the execution of Nidal Hasan, a former US Army major found guilty of murdering 13 individuals at the Texas military base, was confirmed. He is set to face a firing squad on December 3rd at 2 PM ET.

Inquiries were made to various platforms, including YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, Meta, Rumble, and Kick, regarding their plans to broadcast the livestream, but none provided a response before the deadline.

US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth emphasized the importance of public access to the event, stating, “We’ll make sure that people are able to watch it, that it’s public, because people need to understand that there are serious consequences for these types of things.”
