Disney Announces Upcoming Price Increases for Disneyland and Disney World

Disney has increased ticket prices at both Disneyland and Disney World, though not all ticket types are impacted by these changes. There are still budget-friendly options available for fans looking to experience the theme parks.

Over the years, ticket prices for Disneyland and Disney World have seen significant hikes. However, the parks have also expanded, offering guests a broader selection of attractions, dining options, and enchanting environments to explore. According to reports, Disney believes that guests perceive greater value in their visits now compared to the past. Even with rising prices, visitors are getting more for their money, especially during the off-peak season.

At Disneyland, you can choose between one-day or multi-day tickets. The cost of one-day tickets varies based on demand, with higher-tier tickets available during peak times. When demand is low, guests can opt for a more affordable low-tier ticket. While prices for middle-tier tickets have increased, Tier 0, Tier 5, and Tier 6 prices remain unchanged. Fortunately, multi-day and annual pass ticket prices are not affected by these changes.

For those wanting to visit multiple parks, the Park Hopper add-on is available. The additional cost ranges from $5 to $10 for one-day tickets and $5 to $15 for multi-day tickets, depending on the ticket tier. If you want to skip the lines, there’s now an extra $1 fee, making the cheapest Lightning Lane Multi Pass add-on total $38.

Disney World has also raised its prices. Celebrating New Year’s Eve or Christmas at Disney World will be pricier, with the highest-tier tickets increasing by an additional $20.

While annual passes at Disneyland have remained stable in price, Disney World has seen increases. The least expensive annual pass, the Pixie Dust Pass, has gone up by $10, while the top-tier Incredi-Pass has jumped by $120. The mid-tier Pirate and Sorcerer Pass is now $40 more than before.

The silver lining is that low-season prices at both Disney World and Disneyland remain unchanged. Visitors who plan their trips during off-peak times can still find more affordable options.
