GTA 6 Leak Promises Full Game Build Release Ahead of November Launch

Cyberleek made a splash last week with a fresh wave of leaks regarding Grand Theft Auto 6, and now they’re threatening to drop their biggest bombshell yet. The leaker claims they will unveil a complete build of the game unless Rockstar meets their demands.

For weeks, Cyberleek has been a thorn in Rockstar’s side, releasing footage of Grand Theft Auto 6 earlier this year, including gameplay from early builds, story missions, and various in-game locations. After a quiet September, they resurfaced last week, showcasing nude character models like Jason.

In late August, Rockstar’s parent company had enough and began tracking down the hacker. They issued subpoenas to Discord and Microsoft to uncover more about Cyberleek’s identity and location. It seemed like they were closing in, especially when the leaker went silent for nearly a month. However, it’s clear now that Cyberleek isn’t going away quietly.

The leaker claims to possess a full build of GTA 6 and will release it to the public if their cryptocurrency reaches a $30 million market cap. Interestingly, they also stated they wouldn’t release the build if Take-Two agrees to a physical on-disc version of GTA 6 and issues a public apology.

From the start, Cyberleek has expressed frustration over the game’s physical release being merely a code in a box, arguing that gamers deserve to own physical copies of their games. There’s also a financial angle to their actions, as their leaks are tied to a cryptocurrency that they stand to profit from, making this a significant crypto play.

Currently, $CYBERLEEK has a market cap of $6 million and has been climbing since the leaker’s offer went public. It seems highly unlikely that Take-Two will acquiesce to the leaker’s demands, especially with the launch on the horizon. If Cyberleek is serious, all we can do now is wait and see how this unfolds.

Don’t expect to be cruising through Vice City anytime soon.
