Discovery Plus is raising its subscription prices.

Discovery Plus is increasing its subscription prices for both ad-free and ad-supported plans. Starting Tuesday, the ad-supported plan will rise from $5.99 to $6.99 per month, while the ad-free option will jump from $9.99 to $11.99 per month.

This price adjustment follows closely on the heels of Paramount’s acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery, which includes Discovery Plus and HBO Max. The newly formed entity, referred to as Skydance, has plans to eventually merge Paramount Plus and HBO Max into a single service, although it’s still uncertain if Discovery Plus will continue as an independent platform.

Discovery Plus offers a variety of content from networks such as TLC, The Discovery Channel, HGTV, Food Network, and Investigation Discovery. Many of its shows, including popular titles like 90 Day Fiancé, Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, and Deadliest Catch, are also available through an HBO Max subscription. The last price increase for Discovery Plus occurred in January 2025.

This new pricing will take effect immediately for new subscribers, while current subscribers will notice the change in their next billing cycle on or after November 12th.
