Several Sony First-Party Titles No Longer Available on PlayStation Store
As Sony strides toward a fully digital future, it’s unsettling to see some of its first-party titles vanishing from the PlayStation Store without any prior notice, even if it’s just a temporary situation. Players have noticed that several PlayStation Studios games, including Knack 2, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, and God of War III: Remastered, have seemingly been delisted in various regions, likely due to a pricing glitch.
Currently, if you search for these titles on the North American PlayStation Store, they won’t appear at all. Fortunately, if you’ve previously purchased any of these games, you can still download them from your library. In the case of God of War III, it seems the game was mistakenly listed at an incorrect price (around 50 cents) on the Mexican PlayStation Store. It looks like Sony has temporarily removed these titles while they sort out the issue. We’ve reached out to Sony for more information and will provide updates if we receive a response.
If this is merely a technical hiccup, that’s a relief. However, as Sony aims to transition the gaming industry away from physical media and focus on digital releases through its own storefront starting in 2028, it serves as a stark reminder of their ability to remove games from the store with ease. Let’s hope these titles return soon—after all, we can’t imagine a world without the charm of Knack 2 for too long. Plus, if Naughty Dog is indeed working on a new Uncharted, as rumored, players will definitely want to revisit the original games.
