Bluesky Introduces AI Tool for Creating and Sharing Games and Apps on Social Media
Bluesky’s Attie AI tool, which debuted earlier this year to help users create personalized feeds, has now expanded its capabilities to allow the development of “small” social applications like games, polls, and dashboards that can be shared as standalone websites. In a discussion at TechCrunch Disrupt, Bluesky CEO Toni Schneider described Attie as “social vibe coding or vibe coding for your community.”
Creating your own Attie app is as simple as entering a prompt. For instance, I quickly generated a poll about Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue in just a few minutes. If you’re looking for something more robust, the Attie website showcases several examples, including a “Flappy Butterfly” clone of Flappy Bird, a drum machine, a quiz, and an idle clicker featuring a celery man. Each app comes with a unique link on the attie.site domain and credits the creator at the bottom of the page. The apps I’ve tried are mostly lighthearted fun, but I particularly enjoyed the drum machine.
