iPhone Duo Orders Pushed Back to 2027

Delivery estimates for the iPhone Duo have already pushed into next year, just an hour after preorders opened at 8 AM ET on Friday. Currently, all configurations on Apple’s website show late January delivery dates. The foldable device is set to hit stores on October 23rd, and Apple usually keeps a portion of units available for in-store purchases. So, while online orders face delays, you might snag one sooner by visiting an Apple Store.

The extended wait could stem from either the overwhelming demand for Apple’s first foldable iPhone, limited supply from Apple, or a combination of both. Announced in September, the iPhone Duo features a compact passport-style design that Samsung debuted earlier this year. The starting price is $1,999 for the 256GB version, available in “star white” and “night sky.” Preorders are still open on Apple’s website, but be prepared for a lengthy wait before you can finally unfold it.
