Cyberpunk 2077 Edgerunners 2 Update Introduces Mods for PS5, Switch 2, and Xbox

Cyberpunk 2077 is set to receive a significant 2.5 update that introduces exciting features, including cross-platform mod support for consoles and content inspired by the latest season of the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime. There’s plenty to explore in the detailed patch notes.

The update brings Edgerunners-themed content, featuring a new side quest, a gear set inspired by the character Weak Kingsley, and a new radio station dedicated to the anime’s soundtrack.

Even if you haven’t watched the show, you’ll find the update includes a Double Trouble perk that enables dual-wielding of pistols and revolvers, along with a Richard Night-guided city tour side quest. Additionally, players can access a variety of user-created mods directly through the in-game menu.

This feature allows players to easily browse and install a selection of player-created mods right from the in-game menu, with more mods expected to roll out over time. Other enhancements include grouped saves organized by playthrough, support for DLSS 4.5, glasses-free 3D effects, and an FOV slider for console players looking to adjust their field of view.
