Discord Enhances Markdown Previews for Better Formatting

Discord has rolled out a significant update that enhances Markdown previews, ensuring they display correctly instead of showing a jumble of symbols. This change is particularly beneficial for those sharing details about AI projects, as LLMs and AI agents often utilize Markdown files for context and instructions.

Now, when you upload a Markdown (.md) file, it will be presented in a clean and visually appealing format, complete with tables and proper formatting. This makes it perfect for sharing READMEs with friends during a laid-back Sunday night.

In addition, Google has stepped up its Markdown game by allowing users to edit Markdown files directly in Docs, eliminating the need for conversion to the Docs format.

Discord’s update also introduces a new way to organize servers and channels. By right-clicking the icon on the sidebar, users can access a “Move to…” feature for easier management. Plus, Discord Nitro members can now upload files up to 1GB in size.
