The stage is set in Bangkok as the VCT Ascension Pacific 2025 tournament officially begins, marking one of the most crucial moments in the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) circuit. Running from October 14 to 26, the competition will see ten of Asia-Pacific’s best Valorant teams battle it out for two exclusive spots in the VCT Pacific League 2026 and a share of the USD 100,000 prize pool.
Velocity Gaming Leads South Asia’s Charge
Representing South Asia, Velocity Gaming (VLT) enters the tournament as one of the region’s strongest and most consistent Valorant squads. Their qualification followed a hard-fought victory over S8UL Esports in the OMEN VALORANT Challengers South Asia 2025 Ascension Qualifiers, where VLT triumphed 3–1 in the Grand Final.
Now, VLT faces its toughest challenge yet — competing against the top contenders from across Asia-Pacific (APAC) to claim one of the two promotion spots that lead directly into next year’s VCT Pacific League, the official tier-one Valorant league for the region.

Format and Schedule
The tournament begins with a Group Stage (October 14–21), where the ten teams are divided into two groups of five, seeded based on their regional performances. Each group will play a single round-robin in a best-of-three format.
The top six teams will progress to the Playoffs (October 22–26). Here, the top two teams from each group will advance to the upper bracket, while the third-place finishers drop into the lower bracket. The playoff stage uses a modified double-elimination format, with the Upper Bracket Final (October 25) and Lower Bracket Final (October 26) being best-of-five qualification matches — both determining which two teams will secure promotion to the VCT Pacific League 2026.
