Paradise Season 2 Trailer Reveals Answers to Last Season’s Cliffhanger and Hints at Exciting New Twists

Paradise, a unique blend of mystery and drama, quickly became one of my top picks this year. It’s a rare gem that keeps viewers on the edge of their seats with cliffhangers and delivers satisfying answers within a single season. Dan Fogelman and his team aimed for rapid satisfaction from the start, and they’ve promised more Paradise sooner rather than later, breaking the trend of long waits for new seasons.

Just a few months after the thrilling finale of season 1, Fogelman and lead actor Sterling K. Brown have shared an exciting glimpse into what’s next.

At the 2025 CCXP event in São Paulo, Brazil, Hulu dropped the first trailer for Paradise season 2, showcasing a tantalizing preview that hints at a larger and possibly weirder continuation of Fogelman’s gripping narrative. The new footage expands the story beyond the confines of the Colorado bunker, picking up right after the dramatic cliffhanger of the first season.

In season 2, we follow Xavier (Sterling K. Brown) as he embarks on a quest to find Teri (Sarah Shahi) in a post-apocalyptic America ravaged by both natural disasters and human-made chaos. The trailer reveals that Xavier’s escape didn’t go as planned; his plane has crashed, leaving him to navigate a desolate landscape where survivors have spent three grueling years adapting to their new reality. Meanwhile, back in “Paradise,” the fragile social structure of the bunker begins to unravel, with Sinatra (Julianne Nicholson) suggesting that even more secrets lie hidden beneath the city.

Additional highlights from the trailer include insights from season 1 writer Nadra Widatalla, who mentioned that season 2 will introduce new questions while also addressing the mysteries fans have been pondering since the finale. “What is out there? What happened to [Teri]? […] We’re diving into season 2 with fresh inquiries, but it’s going to be bigger and more thrilling. It’s not what people expect, but it will provide the answers they’re looking for.”

Paradise is set to return with its intricate, flashback-driven storytelling on February 23, 2026.
