Chainsaw Man Movie Set to Premiere on TV This Month

Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle might not be available on VOD or streaming platforms just yet, but the Chainsaw Man Movie – Reze Arc is set to drop before the year wraps up. While there’s no specific date for its arrival on services like Crunchyroll, fans can look forward to purchasing both the sub and dub versions from most digital retailers starting December 9.

For those who haven’t caught the film yet, now’s the perfect time to dive into the Chainsaw Man anime, ensuring you’re ready for the direct follow-up as soon as season 1 concludes. Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc serves as a solid entry point for newcomers while still offering plenty for long-time fans to enjoy. Although its self-contained narrative keeps the stakes a bit lower than one might expect from such a vast and intense universe, it still delivers on key moments.

For collectors who prefer physical media, this release is currently limited to the digital version of the film, with no announcements yet regarding a Blu-Ray or DVD release. However, considering how Mappa’s Jujutsu Kaisen 0 was handled, fans can anticipate an announcement about its Crunchyroll debut once the physical release is confirmed.

With Chainsaw Man raking in an impressive $149.9 million globally, and following the massive success of Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle surpassing $700 million, 2025 has solidified anime’s box-office prowess. Now, Sony is set to celebrate, closing out the year with the digital release of Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc.
