Perkz Becomes Part of Friendly Fire Ownership Team
Luka “Perkz” Perković, a retired League of Legends pro, has joined the ownership team of Friendly Fire, a gaming cafe company based in Croatia.
The financial details of the agreement, including Perkz’s investment level, have not been revealed.
“I’m thrilled to be joining Friendly Fire at such an exciting moment in the brand’s journey,” Perkz expressed. “Friendly Fire has created something truly unique—a blend of creativity, authenticity, and ambition that resonates with gamers. I’m eager to help shape what comes next and drive the brand toward an even brighter, bolder future.”
In his new role as both an owner and ambassador, Perkz will promote the brand through his social media platforms, participate in marketing initiatives, and more.
Founded in 2017, Friendly Fire boasts over 18 cafes across four European countries and Mexico, including locations in the UK, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain, and Ukraine. The company also announced plans for expansion into the United States.
Perkz, a Croatian native, retired from professional play earlier this year after a remarkable career as one of the most celebrated players in League of Legends esports. Throughout his journey, he has represented organizations like Cloud9, Team Heretics, and most recently, The Ruddy Shack, but he is best known for his time at G2 Esports from 2015 to 2020.
